Better yet, why pay an electric bill?

Over a ten year span electric bills historically increased 34%, and with the increased number of natural disasters the power grid is increasingly stressed.  Our customers can produce their own power; reducing their reliance on the grid, upgrading their homes, and making their home battery capable.

Instead of looking at your daily usage we are planning for a year's worth; that allows us to use a Net Metering program with Pacific Power to reduce your bills to the service charge.  This graph illustrates a solar year, which starts in the middle of March and is repeatedly when your solar production = your electrical consumption.  Look at the "green bank" that is built up in the spring/summer for how you get through our snowy and cloudy winters.  After a solar installation you will see this "green bank" on your power bills as a negative electrical usage.

There are several options for a grid-tied solar system; standard, hybrid, and with a generator back-up.  Each has their perks and challenges, but every single one adds value to your home and decreases your power bill.  Feel free to ask your estimator about what each style of solar system would work best for you during your free quote.

Standard grid-tied system's main function is to offset your cost-of-living, with these standard grid-tied systems you are unable .

Hybrid systems offer the benefits of both a grid-tied & off-grid system.  Batteries are installed in case of power outages, but during normal operation the solar can back-feed the grid to lower your power bill.

Solar can also be combined with a generator to offer back-up power when the grid goes down.
