Optimal system sizing depends on the goals of the customer… From small to large, you can choose to produce enough electricity just to take full advantage of all of the available incentives, to cover a percentage of your total power usage or to cover 100% of your electrical power needs.
If you are an off-grid application or new construction house/business, the first step is to start with a load analysis to determine how much electricity you will need. Complete our load analysis worksheet to determine your total watt-hour usage. (Insert link to Excel spreadsheet or pdf. Here).
If you are a utility connected application, the first step is to get a 12 month energy usage report. This can be 12 months of electric bills or a report that you request from your utility provider.
Eco Solar will then determine the optimal system size for your application. There is a $100 fee for this service and includes an on-site analysis, customer interview, battery bank sizing, proper wire sizing and a solar system sized to your needs. The $100 fee is credited back to you with the purchase and installation of a complete system.
