Solar systems are not just for folks who live in a cabin out in the woods anymore! You can have a solar system almost anywhere. The bonus for utility customers is that the utility company acts as your storage system for free instead of spending a lot of money on unnecessary batteries.

Be aware, however, that utility companies no longer will purchase excess power from the owner. This is why system sizing by a solar professional is crucial. A solar system that’s sized too large is wasted money and a system that’s too small may not take full advantage of all available incentives and reduce your usage of fossil fuels to an optimum level.

Often times if you are far away from powerlines, you can actually save on overall installation costs if you use a Battery back-up or Off-grid solution.

For those of you who are not connected to a utility company, we offer solar PV systems that are specific for off-grid application.

These systems are custom designed to meet your energy needs. The process starts with filling out our “Load Estimate Worksheet”. You can find the System Sizing page.

If you are building a new house we recommend that you take a close look at the Electric load you are using at your current house. We can make adjustments for different appliances and heating/cooling equipment.

You should be aware that if you are moving to an off-grid system from previously being connected to a utility, you will need to make lifestyle changes to conserve your batteries. You will also need to purchase a generator for times of extensive cloudy weather or for running large loads, such as shop equipment. We can recommend a generator that will be incorporated into your solar system power center to create a convenient system that all works together.

What everyone really needs. Power anywhere always on-demand.
