For those of you who are not connected to a utility company, we offer solar PV systems that are specific for this application. As always, these systems are custom designed. The process starts with filling out our “Load Estimate Worksheet” found on the System Sizing page of our web site. If you are building a new house we recommend that you take a close look at the Electric load you are using in your current house. We can make adjustments for different appliances and heating/cooling equipment. You should be aware that if you are moving to an off grid system from previously being connected to a utility, you will need to make lifestyle changes to conserve your batteries. You will also need to purchase a generator for times of extensive cloudy weather or for running large loads, such as shop equipment. We can recommend a generator that will be incorporated into your solar system power center for a convenient system that all works together.

"This spring we had Eric Andrews of Eco Solar, Inc. in Klamath Falls, Oregon, design and install a 2,800 watt solar electric system at our home in Curry County. We have lived “off-grid” for thirty-five years, using a diesel generator and battery system. Having all of the clean, quiet, economical electricity that we need for our lifestyle has been a wonderful change for us. We found Eric to be a very knowledgeable professional who was able to guide us through the entire process. With Eco Solar, Inc. we knew that we were getting state-of-the-art information and products. Without reservation, we recommend Eric and Eco Solar, Inc. to anyone considering solar energy."
